CERTIFICATIONS

BREEAM

All ACCIONA residential developments in Spain are BREEAM certified, a mark of our enduring commitment to sustainability and eco-efficiency in building design, construction and management. Under BREEAM, candidate buildings are evaluated on various criteria, including efficient development management, energy performance and responsible water use. There is a strong emphasis on user well-being, covering air quality, lighting and thermal comfort. The assessment looks closely at the materials used in construction, with credit given for more sustainable choices, responsible waste management and efforts to minimise ecological impacts. It also considers sustainable transport options and measures to control pollution.

LEED

LEED certification recognises the adoption of sustainable construction methods that protect the environment while enhancing efficiency. Assessment criteria include energy performance, water management, indoor environmental quality, use of sustainable materials and access to public transport.

WELL

The WELL scheme challenges developers to put health and well-being at the heart of their proposals. It sets common standards for a range of aspects, including air quality, natural lighting, thermal comfort and drinking water quality, and backs healthy lifestyles by requiring spaces for relaxation and physical activity.

APPLIED SUSTAINABILITY

We work in alignment with the EU Taxonomy, harnessing technology and passive techniques to create energy efficient homes that take us further towards decarbonisation. ACCIONA subscribes to a circular economy model and strives to extend the material lifecycle for a more sustainable built environment. Our proactive approach helps ACCIONA empower clients to contribute to a greener future.
