ACCIONA's real estate business, in line with its commitment to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities, works in accordance with the guidelines defined by the WAI.

ACCIONA's website has been developed using XHTML and style sheets complying, as far as possible, with the XHTML 1.0 and CSS2 validations of the W3C.

The following are among the main measures taken to guarantee accessibility:

• Font size. The fonts used have relative sizes so that users can control the font size from the browser they are using.
• Design, navigation and interactivity. We have tried to achieve consistent navigation throughout the website, following the same structure on all sites.
• Keyboard shortcuts. We have added a number of keyboard shortcuts to access the navigation menu options and the links at the bottom of the website. These shortcuts vary depending on the browser used:  
  • With Internet Explorer 5 and above you need to press alt, the shortcut key and then enter.
  • With Mozilla and Netscape you need to press alt and the relevant shortcut key.
  • With Firefox for PC you need to press alt and Caps Lock and the shortcut key.
  • With Opera for PC you need to press Caps Lock and the escape key and the shortcut key.

COMMENTS ON THE ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WEBSITE

To produce the titles on the sites we have used the sIFR  technique, which allows the use of special fonts by combining Flash and JavaScript technology. The titles are still maintained even if users do not have these technologies. However, should users decide to increase the font size during browsing, the website will need to be reloaded for the titles to be effective.
